My nephew, Micah is having his kidney transplant surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30 am (my sister is giving him her kidney, for those of you who didn't know.) Micah has already been admitted to the hospital for some IV fluids tonight to make sure he doesn't get dehytrated from not being able to eat or drink tonight, and Katie goes in super early tomorrow morning. Both grandmas are already out there to offer their help. The surgeries will take about 5 hours.
We would all very much appreciate prayers for the surgeries, wisdom for the doctors, and prayers for speedy recoveries! We are so excited for Micah to have this new kidney and so thankful that my sister was a match!!

Father God, We love you so much and are so excited that this awesome surgery can happen. We just pray that they can both be free from infection and that you watch over the doctors and nurses hands and minds that they will do everything they can to make it fast and infection free. Lord we ask that you help them both be as pain free as possible. We pray for a quick recovery for both Micah and Katie and that Katie can see Micah soon. We pray for Reed that he puts his trust in you and isn't too worried the whole time. God, you are an awesome God and we love you so much and thank you for the opportunity for Katie to give her son one of the best gifts in the world. We pray the kindey works right away and that there is awesome urine output soon!!!! Be with the grandmas to be good caretakers. In you name we pray, Amen!!!!!!!
