Baby brother

Leaving for the hospital at 12:45 am on Oct 19

Going home!

The girls and Grandma met us on the driveway. As you can see, Elsie is just wearing a shirt and some panties. She has taken this time to decide to potty train...she refuses to wear a diaper and wants to sit on the potty about every half hour! Poor Grandma has been busy!

Elsie seems so big to me now!! Here she was being goofy and lying on the top of the couch.

Gage William was born this morning! 8lbs 10oz and 20inches. Gage and Mommy are doing great, and the older sisters are having a blast.

It's a good thing that baby boy Rabus is coming tomorrow...although he does enjoy a good tea party, Mike sure needs another boy in the family!

Pictures of baby boy's room.

Me at 39 weeks. We head to the hospital tonight to be induced...we'll post pictures of the newest Rabus as soon as we can!

Cute little girls

Just a few random pictures of our cute little girls. They were all dressed up for church a couple of weekends ago and we attempted a photo shoot...took a while to get one where they were both looking at the camera at the same time! There is also a picture of Sophie in her cubbies vest. She is doing AWANA's this year, where she learns a bible verse during the week and then goes to church on Wednesday nights and recites the verse and does other fun activities. She loves it!

First hair cuts!

I finally took the girls for their first hair cuts! I have been trimming their bangs myself (you all probably knew that from how uneven they were!) and decided to let my hairdresser, Candace, even things out just a bit! The girls both did great, even Elsie!

Swim lessons

Trying something new here with my posting...still figuring it out! Anyway, Sophie finished last week with her first swim lessons. She did so great! Up until this last summer, she has always been a little afraid of the water, but this summer she started wanting to swim "by herself" (with the help of her puddle-jumper) and started putting her face under the water. We thought swim lessons would be a good idea, and she seemed to really enjoy it! You can click on the collage to enlarge it.
