Friends are friends forever...

We just got back from a great Memorial Day weekend visiting our friends Marty and Shanna (and kids) in Columbus, Mississippi. We met Marty and Shanna here in Oklahoma City at church about 5 or 6 years ago (am I right about that, Shanna?). Marty flies for the air force and was transferred away from us when Molly, their daughter, was a little over 1 years old. We miss them terribly! It was so fun to see them again and it felt just like old times! Molly and Brady are such great kids and are getting so big!! Sophie and Elsie had a great time playing with them!

Brady and Elsie are scoping each other out. They are almost exactly 1 year apart in age.

Molly saying grace before dinner.

Sophie and Molly are dancing like princesses!

Our favorite past time when the Slovinsky's lived by us was to play games (especially dominoes) and eat sour gummy worms. Not just any kind of gummy worm, but SOUR ones.

I don't know who's idea this was. I think it was Shanna's.

The guys and their kids.

We had a great time swimming in Marty and Shanna's pool (although we froze the first time we tried it!) You can tell that Shanna hasn't quite adjusted to the temperature yet in this picture.

This would have been a great family picture if that weird guy hadn't gotten in the way of the shot!

We had so much fun, Marty and Shanna!! Thanks for everything. Tears are falling onto my keyboard as I type this. Hopefully we can do this again soon!!

Fun in the Oklahoma sun!

Emma and Elsie hanging out at the park. Pretty soon they'll be big enough to play with their brother and sister!

And this is why you should never leave a box of baby rice cereal lying around where your dog can get to it, especially if he has a beard. It was sure hard to get out!

Elsie is almost 9 months old!!

We can't believe how time is flying! It seems like just yesterday that God brought this beautiful, fun little girl into our lives, and now she's almost 9 months old! Hmmmm...might be time to add another Rabus baby into the mix! Anyway, here are some more pictures of our cute little girls!
Does anyone have any tips on how to stop a 9 month old from sticking her finger up her nose? Everytime Elsie sucks her thumb, her pointer finger finds that nice little hole to explore. I guess we can't really blame her...it is a perfect fit!

Look at all of those teeth!!! Elsie is working on 4 teeth on the top and 2 more on the bottom, which will make 8 teeth in total!

We went to a University of Oklahoma track meet over the weekend. Mike is hoping to transfer his love of running to his girls. Sophie seemed to like the runners and high-jumpers, but her favorite thing was to run up and down the bleachers. Oh well.

Mother's Day dinner at IHOP. It was fabulous!!!

We were bored one afternoon. Can you tell?
