Apparently, the Oklahoma State Fair is the thing to do around here in September. We've lived here for about 7 years and have never gone until this year! Sophie really liked all the animals. She got to see horses, (smelly) cows, baby chicks, pigs, and goats. She was a little scared of the ostrich in the petting zoo (she must get that from you, Grandma!). She mostly just had fun running around with her dad chasing her!
Mike is hoping that Elsie will be a Nascar fan like her father. She doesn't look to excited, but that's probably because Dale Jr.'s car wasn't in the auto show!

Ooooo, I love state fairs! Sophie has already been to two. No walleye-on-a-stick though. boo hoo What fun you must have had! Those little girls are so lucky their mommy and daddy do fun things with them. Love, Grammy
