I have to get this up here quickly and quietly, before Susanne get's to the computer. You will see why in a minute. I bought a cheap slip-and-slide this weekend because I was tired of sitting in our house while it's 105 degrees outside. I think that I had the most fun. Sophie is trying to push me down the slide, but she just isn't strong enough.

And now I get to push Sophie down the slide. I am strong enough.

Elsie got to go down the slide a couple of times, but she enjoyed watching Sophie the most.

I don't think Susanne's parents let her have one of these when she was a child.

Suze! I love your sliding, Marty did too. He jumped off the couch to come and watch when I said Susanne is about to slip and slide. Well done. By the way, we'll go to Disney with you anytime. You and me and some mouse ears in front of the castle. Great picture.
Love it!
You are so brave Susie! I know you guys are used to going down steeper hills on cardboard! Glad to see you're keeping cool! Love, Grammy
michael rabus, she is going to KILL you.
sus, let me just tell you, you will not be happy with me: but we got a 20 year oild who made his own slip and slide, and was doing it into the pool, and NOW he's a quad. just so you know.
mike, don't get a house with a pool.
i thought yall were dead. glad to have you back in the blogging world.
Susanne, sorry we were so negligent in your early childhood education. We tried to give you a well-rounded youth-experience, you know, skiing and sledding and cruising and hiking and tennis. How could we have forgotten something so important as slip-and-sliding? Will you ever forgive us....We still think you're the best!!! And at least your daughters will have this experience to equip them for the rest of their lives!
