Grandma and Grandpa's visit

Grandma and Grandpa came out last weekend to meet Elsie! We had a great time!

Sophie went to a birthday party for her friend, Emma, at the Norman splashpad. She had a great time (and got soaking wet!!!)

We have a little Elmo potty for Sophie, but she hasn't actually done any of her business in it yet. We aren't really trying very hard right now to potty train because of adding Elsie to our family, but we like to sit her on it every now and then. Plus, it makes for really cute pictures!

What are we going to do if we have a 3rd child?!?!

Elsie is 1 week old!

We are so happy to be home! Elsie is being a very good baby (so far!) She sleeps most of the time, even at night!! Yeah! We wake her up to feed her about every 3 hours, but then she goes right back to sleep. Sophie doesn't seem too interested in her baby sister, but she seems to like her and we haven't had any jealousy issues (yet!) Here are some pictures of the girls!!

Our first outing to Kohls

This is from the waiting room at Norman Regional Hospital when we took Elsie back for a mother-baby check-up. When we left the hospital on Saturday, she weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz, but at this appointment she had already gotten back up to 8 lbs. 7 oz!

We were sad to see Grammy leave! You were such a big help, Grammy, and we miss you already!!

A couple of hours after Grammy left, though, my mom (Grandma) flew into town to meet little Elsie, and Grandpa got here today to spend the weekend with the granddaughters. I will post pictures from their visit later!

P.S. Nice try, Jordon, but you don't win the baby poll!! It did give us a laugh to see your almost perfect answers!

We're off...

to have a baby! We are about to head to the hospital to be induced! Despite my attempts to go into labor, I guess this baby just needs a little coaxing! We will let you know soon whether the newest Rabus is a boy or a girl!

Micah and Aunt Katie's visit

Sophie and Mike's new favorite activity is to take a bike ride in the morning (before it gets too hot). Sophie loves it!

Thought I'd throw this picture of prego me on the blog. Any day now!

My parents drove here from Colorado to drop off their dog, Abel, with us while they continued on their trip to Michigan. Abel is such a good dog and got along really well with Sophie. She still asks for him, even though he left to go back to Colorado with my parents a few days ago. I just happened to look over at them while making dinner and saw Sophie trying to ride Abel like a horse. He just sat there and let her do it!

Katie and Micah flew out from Virginia for a quick visit before heading back to Colorado with my parents. Sophie and Micah haven't seen each other since last Christmas! They've both grown up so much since then (neither of them were walking when they last saw each other!). We had lots of fun, even though we were limited in our activities due to the 100 degree Oklahoma heat.

Notice how flushed their faces look after spending 30 minutes at the park! It was very hot, so this picture was taken at the Snow Cone stand while we waited for Katie to get us some snow cones!

These kids have dance moves you've never seen before!
