Sophie's spring program

Sophie had her spring program at school last week. We met with our friends, the Smith's and the Lohman's, for dinner beforehand.

Sophie is in the back row, pretty much in the middle of the group. This is her class at school singing a few songs.


Here she is singing with the entire group of older kids (maybe 8 different classes). She's just to the right of the microphone! The video is kind of blurry, but we proud parents had to post the video anyway!

Here are some cute pictures from the last week or so...

Mike took the girls to a cookout last weekend with our sunday school class. He had a challenging time watching both girls (mostly Elsie) while also trying to grill hotdogs/hamburgers! Here was his creative way to keep Elsie still long enough to eat!

At the ballpark

Both girls came down with strep throat on Wednesday. They were pretty miserable but felt much better that evening after starting the antibiotics. This was after breakfast while we were waiting for our doctor's appointment. All they wanted to do was curl up on the couch with their blankets and watch cartoons.

Grammy made the girls the cutest aprons!!!!!! Thanks, Grammy!! I have fabric to make one of my own that matches (you'll only see a picture of mine if it doesn't look too funny after I'm done. I'm not the greatest sewer!)
