Visits from family!

We love it when our families visit us!! First, my mom flew here for a few days on her way back to Colorado from Virginia (where my sister Katie and her family live).


My mom and Sophie share a love of the zoo, so we had to make that one of our stops!

Mike loves to make pillow forts with Sophie (actually, around Sophie!)

Yes, we succumbed to peer pressure and bought Rock Band for the Playstation. It's a totally fun game! Even my mom was getting into it!

Then, Mike's parents flew out here this last weekend for a nice visit. No trip to OKC is complete without visiting the zoo...plus, we bought Sophie a new wagon and wanted to try it out! She loved to sit in it and eat Cheezits!








Going to the zoo makes little girls tired! Good thing we had our new wagon so that Sophie could take a quick nap!

The Rabus family makes up quite a cool band, don't you think?!?!



We also visited the Choctaw Land Run Festival! We saw lots of interesting people, a fake gun fight, ponies, and a tractor pull.

Oklahoma-made kennel corn (we bought this from a really cute old couple all dressed up in olden clothes!)

We yodeled with this cowboy singer. Who would have know that Grammy was such a great yodel-er!
